The ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) is the professional business and finance qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW). This qualification requires both technical and practical experience in order to achieve chartered status. In fact, the ACA qualification represents an effective combination of an excellent study programme, coupled with work experience.
By collaborating with Deloitte, you will receive continuous support during your training (both of a financial nature, as well as time dedicated to you by our professionals.) You will also gain work experience that is vital to achieving a comprehensive understanding of both the profession and the business in which you will be working.
THE ACCA PROGRAMME
For students wishing to continue their studies during full time employment at Deloitte
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is a fast growing global professional accountancy body with over 100 years of experience and consisting of over 424,000 students and members in over 170 countries. Both its reputation and influence are respected worldwide by employers, governments and the profession itself.
Through its full time employment scheme for ACCA students, Deloitte offers a high level of flexibility and support to assist you through this important stage in your career. Deloitte offers its ACCA students study leave to prepare for their examinations.
THE PATHWAY PROGRAMME

For University of Malta students, supported by Deloitte
The programme is a commitment that Deloitte makes with you during your time at the University of Malta. We provide you with structured work experience and financial support, followed by full time employment on successful completion of your studies.
This programme is aimed primarily at students reading for a degree in the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy (FEMA) and who are majoring in Accountancy. Deloitte also offers programmes to Law students with an interest in taxation. We also offer the necessary support during your studies.
